The Ulster Folk Museum
Currently working for The Ulster Folk Museum as ‘Research Curator (Domestic life)’, which involves researching and appraising the authenticity of displays within a selection of the reconstructed farmhouses, and drawing upon the extensive collection of vernacular artefacts, kept in store.
Cork Public Museum
As Project Manager for the Conservation of the Jack Lynch Archive, I oversaw the cataloging and conservation of the archive that was affected by flooding in Cork Public Museum in 2009. Subsequently as Conservation Consultant, I have helped the museum, with its collection of over 50,000 objects, as it progresses through its five year accreditation procedure.
The Butter Museum
At the Butter Museum, I have helped to assess the collection and catalogue it. Many object were deep frozen to treat woodworm. Together with UCC MA students, we coordinated this work.
